Independence of the Seas to Receive Extensive Refurbishments

One week ago on July 13, 2017, the Royal Caribbean Crown and Anchor Society announced a list of new features coming the Independence of the Seas during her next dry dock.

The Crown and Anchor Society made the announcement on Facebook last Thursday. The updates were recommendations made by travel agents from the UK and Ireland as a part of a contest through Travel Weekly UK. Read the announcement below!

The new features will include water slides, laser tag, a trampoline park, and escape rooms. The dry dock is scheduled for April of 2018. Since the Independence of the Seas was launched back in 2008, she has only had one significant refurb back in 2013.

No specific details have been revealed at this time, but make sure to stay with us as we will continue to bring you more updates as we receive them.
