It’s Been Two Years: A Look Back On Where It All Started

Just like that, it’s been two years! Two years of breaking news, live blogs, and awesome pictures.

Cruise Everyday originally began as an Instagram account (I try to post cruise related pictures everyday *Hint* that’s where I got Cruise Everyday. *Hint*) on April 27, 2016. This was shortly after we went on our first Royal Caribbean cruise, on board Brilliance of the Seas. This is when I fell even more in love with cruising. I say this because I originally fell in love back in 2012, on our Norwegian Jewel cruise from New York City. In May of 2016, I had the idea of starting a blog. So, I bought this domain, and added a WordPress package.

I originally took a jab at a “live” blog for our Brilliance cruise. The reason I say “live” is because I wrote them two months after our cruise. The next year in April of 2017, I did an actual live blog on board the Norwegian Jade. It was better. It wasn’t great, but it was better. However, this year (Norwegian Epic) I perfected it (or at least I think I did). I think that I did a better job at the witty, more relatable aspect of the blog. Maybe not, but that’s for you to decide.

Last but not least, I would not have been able to do all of this without all of you. I appreciate all of your support and positive comments over these past two years. That’s pretty much it. Now we’re here. Where will Cruise Everyday go next? No one knows. We’ll see. Until then follow us on Instagram and Twitter, and hit up our Facebook page with a like!
