Water Line Break Leaves Carnival Dream Passengers Knee Deep

What a Friday! Yesterday on board the Carnival Dream at about 6 PM, deck 9 became submerged in 6 inches of water, affecting 50 staterooms. John Heald, a Carnival enthusiast, posted on Facebook stating that the water had come from a fire suppression system. The water was clean, but come one. COME ON. Way to go Carnival. Way to ruin these people’s vacations.

A Facebook video below shows the panic that ensued on board the Titanic…. I mean Carnival Dream:

The Carnival “Dream” is currently on a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise from New Orleans. There is currently no impact on the next scheduled cruise. Passengers received a 100 percent refund, 50 percent towards a future cruise, and an option to disembark the ship today if they choose with included air transportation home. This is where Carnival did it right. Fast and fair. Too bad that you can’t transfer future cruise credit to other cruise lines.
